Recent pickup off of ebay - Curious what grade you'd give it. Any chance of RB on this one?

I'd say low MS but the color looks off imo.

When I first saw it, my immediate reaction was questionable color. I don't like the spots on the reverse and unevenness of the color. It does however have MS details. Of course, my opinion

I would say questionable color as well, if not, cleaned. Four full diamonds and nice details!

MS details, maybe cleaned ... maybe a photographer having the same issues I am, but to a lesser degree. Were I to have seen it as presented, in an ebay listing, my senses would have said "cleaned" don't bid too much.

That said .... It hasn't been harshly abraded because the device edges are still as crisp as a new coin, but maybe dipped and relieved of its original surface.

Chance

I agree that the color of this coin is off. I would say MS details.

I'm starting to see now why no one outbid me :( Thanks for the consensus on this one.. Guess i'll flip it as a MS details coin and hope I dont lose much. Good thing my high bid was more in the AU range.

By the way - this is a series I'm not as versed on. What about the coloring makes it questionable? Is it the shade of colors I see, the pattern of the color transitions, or the darker spots on the back?

Thanks

The blue and orange "blotchiness" is the dead giveaway. It is more prominent on the obverse with the spots more visible on the reverse.

I would say AU retoned with a darkener that gives the coin a reddish brown color with a hint of purple.

MS63. The surface looks a little compromised from a light cleaning or rubbing.
