These are usually weakly struck at the centers and yours is no exception. VF20 would be a conservative grade, I'd go 25 and maybe even 30 if going a touch liberal.


There are 16 different Overtons for 1807 Draped Bust Halves. I don't know which one this is.

At least F-15, possibly VF-20.

I also think your 1807 DBH is the same Overton as mine (which I don't know any attribution for and would like to know...)

Why? Note the same clash marks above the date on the obverse and the same die cracks across the top of STATES and the lump between the S of STATES and the O of OF on reverse.

Moe - you also have O-105 R.1. Major attributes: Rev C only used on 1 die pairing. 5 berries on branch, all have stems. Eagle's beak joined to star point. Lump from die chip. AM very close @ base.
Obv 4 - 1 solidly joined to curl & 8 is low. No mention of the clash above the date.

yes nice coins these are my favorite bust halves. I like the reverses on these coins.
