I just found a 1967 U.S. quarter with the eagle and what I believe to be President Lincoln on the verse side. Here is the catch Mr. Lincoln is upside down. Does anyone know how much this is worth or if this is a collector coin. Thank you for your reply in advance :)

Condition is practically mint, I have it in a capsule and it looks very nice.

Hmmm ... first you need to realize that USA coinage .. unlike Canada ... is not in medal alignment.

That is ... the obverse and reverse images are designed to be struck 180 degrees rotated as a normal strike.

So, a 1967 USA quarter with images 'upside down' is normal ... and it should be George Washington on the obverse.

Can you show some photos?

I agree, and its worth about 25 cent. If it were a 1964 or earlier it would be worth silver value but 1967 is just worth a quarter

Rcmbout Welcome! CCF is a great place, hope you like it. As for your question. As nickelsearcher said I believe your talking about US President George Washington, Not Abe Lincoln. If it indeed is Lincoln on the Reverse then you might just have something their. But the chances of something like that being made is very slim. I believe the term is Mule Coin, when the wrong design / denomination is struck on the obverse and reverse of the same coin. The last one I believe to be made is a Washington and Sacagawea. Hope your enjoying the site, Aye.

Could use a photo of that coin. Might be one of those things kids or people do when putting two coins together and hitting with a hammer.
