One dollar of silver is .77 OZ. So multiply the daily melt value by .77 to find the value of one dollar of silver coins (or just do as rachums said!). Also note this is not what a dealer would pay as they need to make a profit.

First, that is ONLY true for silver dollars. It is NOT true for anything smaller.

Second, that is ONLY true for NEW silver dollars, NOT worn silver dollars.

So today to sell gets $20 for $1 face or about $23.60 per $1 to buy. That's at $32 per Oz. There are appox 715 to 723 oz of silver per 1000 face. (Based on wear)

wow, angel2004 thats not too bad. I am getting around $20.00 for $1.00 face value and they are selling it at $28.00 for $1.00 face value and morgans at $30.00 each. Ouch.

So where are you buying at those prices because I would love to do business with them buying.

If you want you can send me an e-mail.

Just a local shop near where I live. I really don't like to put too much personal info online. What part of the country are you in?
