If it is indented, I'm thinking a struck through error. If it is raised I'm thinking a gas bubble. I'm still having a hard time determining which it is. Images help most of the time, but a hands on look like you have can determine which it is? I see some evidence of a clash above LIBERTY.

It is 100% indented. The darkest point Is the deepest point as well there is that extra indentation south of the darkest part of the main indentation.
Take a look at the whole Obverse pic again that is the easiest to see it indents as well to tge southeast you can see the smaller Indent.
And what do you mean by a clash?
Thanks
Kris

To see depth look at the deepest darkest part of the ear first then look at tge darkest part of the spot in question.
Hope that helps
It also almost looks to me now that it is a double of tge bottom ear and lobe but turned south west!
