Odd Kennedy Halves... Errors? - Coin Community Forum

Bluntedbobylon Valued Member United States 247 Posts	Posted 11/24/2011 2:27 pm I was digging through my brothers change jar and came across these. The first one, the 1988p, has an odd rim that goes all the way around. The second, the 1995d, seems to have a lump in it.... any ideas? Report this Post to the Staff

Fuzzy317 Moderator United States 14463 Posts	Posted 11/24/2011 3:13 pm looks to me, the first one was in a bezel or other holder that flattened the rim. If the ring on the edge was obverse and reverse, its almost like a Dryer Coin. can't tell if that's a divot/impression on the reverse, if so, looks like someone hit the reverse with the back of a ball-peen hammer Report this Post to the Staff
