guess they were getting flooded with emails asking if it will be available again. Why do you ask?

No special reason just thought it was odd that ALL references to the set were gone.
I check every so often since I read somewhere that they may make more of the sets "very doubtful".
Maybe with all the negativity about the set they may wish it would just go away...

that could be, and if they ever make more, they may sell them to dealers/retailers only

"All the negativity about the set" what negativity? The only legit negativity I heard was from Earl42. Other than his, everyone else is just crying. I am sure the mint has tougher skin than being influenced by people who missed out. The only way this wouldn't have been seen poorly done by some is if they had an order window and regardless of how many orders were placed, they would make enough for all. I can't tell you how many concerts I missed out on because it sold out before I could get my tickets and sure I was dissapointed, but that is life. I never felt the urge to contact TicketMaster to tell them that they have bad service because the venue the concert was at didnt have enough tickets to go around. Companies plan to make less than demand, that way it keeps up the hype for the next go around and doesn't leave them holding the bag when it doesn't sell out. Fear of missing out the next time is good for business, which is what the mint is, as business.

Sorry but THERE IS negativity wherever you read and not just here and not just from Earl42..
I simply asked a question about the set nowhere to be found on the US Mint web site.
Start your own topic if you want to talk about everyone "crying" because they did not get this set!

Did you mean negativity with the "ordering system" ?
People who couldn't get through ?

Because I too, am not aware of any "negativity" regarding this Set, other than the "crying foul" that there weren't enough available, and that so many folks got "more than one".

Folks who actually GOT theirs seem to be OVERWHELMINGLY pleased with the coins...and even the O.G.P. case that they came in.

But anyway, yeah, the Mints website often has "issues"....one day somethings there, next day it's gone. Another day they'll list something as available when it isn't...and dates of availability constantly change.....I've seen it all on there at one time or another.

It disappeared off of the Mint's website for the simple reason that how it was brought to market was an embarrassing fiasco even by the Mint's standards. None of the brass or marketing honchos read the various coin blogs and websites for the weeks leading up to the launch apparently, and so was caught napping on the fervor for the sets. As a government run entity and monopoly, for the Mint to post an apologia on its website is eye opening.

Yes this is mostly what meant by "negativity"
Also the many reports of the packaging.
