I thought I would post some pics of my best finds that I have found roll searching. I have only been doing this for about 4 years now. Before I came to this forum in 2008, I didn't even know what a "doubled die" or an "RPM" was. I can't thank everyone here enough who has taught me what I know today. These are just a very few of my best finds. I have many other doubled dies, but these are just some of my faves. I read so many posts on here of people that have been doing this for years and have hardly found anything, so I find myself very fortunate to have found what I have. Please excuse my pictures they are the best I can do, but I just thought I would share and I hope everyone enjoys. I'll post another topic later on my best RPM's. 1972P-1DO-003 1983P-1DO-001 1984P-1DO-001 1997-1DO-001 2006P-1DO-017

The 1984 was my very first find. That coin is what got me into this crazy hobby! I actually found it in my change drawer at work!

That's great luck finding the 1984! I started saving coins (not seriously collecting) when I was a teenager. Back in the late 60's I worked at the movies and sometimes I worked the cash register. People would pay with Morgan dollars and Buffalo nickels....I bought every one that I saw. Now if I could only find a 1984 like yours.....

Great finds, but especially the 2006-1DO-017!
I'm still looking for my first on that one!

Thanks for all the comments everyone! Chuckster, I actually have found two of the 2006P-1DO-017 along with many, many other 2006P DDO's and DDR's! That is one of my favorite years to look at because I seem to find more doubled dies of those than any other. Though I'm still looking for the 018.

You are looking for the 018 and I've found 8 of them already and you have found 2-017's and I can't find one!
Amazing, that's what make's this hobby so great etc!
*I still have 5 of them*
PM me if you are interested in possibly trading one of your 017s for maybe 2/3 of my 018's.

Chuckster, the other one that I have has a nasty spot on the obverse, so I don't think you would want it. It broke my heart when I found it because it would have been a very nice MS coin if not for that.

Yeah me too! That's what is fun about though is finding one on your own. It is for me anyways. I'm still looking for a few that I would really like to find other than the 018, like the one pictured in your avatar and the 1995P-1DO-001. I can't believe I haven't found one of the '95's though, I thought they were more plentiful than most. Oh well maybe one day!

Same here!
The 1995P-1DO-001 is on the top of my hit list!- Still can't believe I have not found one of them, especially when I look at all of the varieties and erros that I have found that are WAY MORE scarcer then this coin is!
Good luck hunting!
