I like Septimius Severus portrait coin. This is a nice one with good detail. Nice and round coin with a light strike on the obverse at 5 o'clock area. You have to love that beard and curly hair. Have you attributed this coin yet?

hi it's really a very nice coin,even if I prefer coins less cleaned especially if they are silver coins....a bit of dark oxidation on silver suits me....however very very nice.compliments!

The engraving work is quite good on the reverse too. From what I've seen, the reverse figures during this era can be quite simplistic. Yours shows the celator was quite an accomplished artist.
