I just received two coins in the mail that I purchased from JW. They are really nice coins for the money, I think. He originally offered me two Constantine I posthumous coins because I have been looking around for them for a reasonable price. I purchased one that he offered, as you will see and another.

This is a Tetricus II. The odd thing is that it changed to a dark color during transit to here. I noticed that with some of the other coins I received as well but it never happened to any modern coins I ordered. Has this happened to anyone else?

I will be giving this coin a ID soon.

I could be wrong but I think this Tetricus II coin is RIC 271. Once I'm again I'm having problems giving an ID and it doesn't help that the reverse doesn't have much detail.

The desert patina on the first coin is very nice!

Oh yes, I like it too. It looks good in hand as well.
