Susanlynn9 Forum Mom United States 5877 Posts	Posted 01/03/2007 2:46 pm Accugrade is not known for accurate grading. In fact, I've seen many coins overgraded by them. Also, I have heard that they have graded counterfeit coins as authentic. When everyone was discussing ACG and their opinions of them, ACG filed a lawsuit against forums, members of forums, and anyone else that they could find to sue for slander and libel. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 01/27/2007 7:01 pm That is one of the first four generations of Acugrade slabs. I know it isn't the first but I can't pin it down right now. One thing to remember about these is that they were not graded to the same grading standard as the ANA grading scale in place at the time. And no one was grading using all 11 MS grades yet. This slab predates PCGS and 11 MS grades. (ACG was the first US firm to slab coins beginning in 1984.) Report this Post to the Staff
