I'm a new member and I have several questions
First, I have two 1944 U.S. Pennies one which the first 4 is missing or almost missing.
Is this a known error?
How do I find out the value of such things?
Will I be able to sell them and retire.

Hi, and welcome. Sounds like a die fill error which is very common but still an error. There is a small premium on such coins. look at ebay in error coins and search for die fill, or filled die.

good luck.

Errorcoins is correct, filled dies are very common, and rarely carry any large extra value, except on ebay.
