As I said in me last posting, I'm a new member and this is my second question.
I have a coin that was apparently made on a planchet thinner that standard. Is this a know type of error?
The coin is a 1859 Canadian large cent. The coin weighs about 75% of the standard weight and the weight of others. The obverse and reverse look quite normal if, maybe, a little weak (or worn?). Is this a known error? How about its value?

Well I'm afraid I can't answer your questions, but if the planchet was thinner than expected, the weak strike would make sense.

I'm sure someone else will be along to help.
