This is a new purchase of mine. These are the seller's photos (I wish my photograpy skills were that good.) It is in a problem-free, older ANACS slab. How would you grade it?

I would say MS-64 just a touch of sporadic chatter on the cheek and fields

I have been looking at the coin for 5 minutes, and can still not decide on MS-64 or MS-65.

I'd have no issue with a 65 if the luster is strong. 64 with subdued luster. Very nice looking Morgan!

In an old small white ANACS slab I could see this going MS-65, however it is more than likely a MS-64 coin using todays gradding standards, so I concur with the majority here on CCF MS-64.

The coin has great patina and luster!

I'm actually the other way, westcoin - in all but the older and very newest ANACS slabs, this one's probably a 65. For a while there, though, even ANACS slipped their standards.
Rest in Peace
