So I really don't know a ton about 3 cent pieces or classic coins in general, so could you guys help me out on what I should bid on this? Is this a good piece to own in general? I think that they are interesting coins and just wanted some advice! Thanks coin community family! You guys are truly awesome in my journey of coin collecting..

Sorry forgot to add link lol!

Common date, EF at best, and I don't like what I see to the left of the I on the reverse. Even if you buy it, you'll realize later you want to upgrade it.

Nicely clashed - has some gunk on the reverse that may come off with acetone, could be corrosion. Not AU looks like VF/XF. At the current price of $6.00 it's a deal, I'd bid no more than $12-15 myself, the possible permanent damage limits the sell-ability.

You should pick as high of a grade as you can afford - then look for the nicest coin you can find for the price, stay away from coins with problems, scratches, heavy cleaning, artificial toning, corrosion, anything that detracts from the over all appearance, and you'll do fine, remember there are lots of coins out there don't jump at the first one you see!

All things said being true, I would still snag that coin if you can get it under 10 bucks.

I would recommend you pass on this one. It has too much foreign matter on it and you can find a comparably graded coin that has much more eye appeal that you'll be proud to own by being patient.

The Dansco album, United States Type #7070, is the type set a lot of CCFers are filling I see. In fact, it's one of three type sets I am assembling. The other two are Capital Plastics holders #460A & B. These display quite well though, if purchased new can run as much as $60.90 each. I got mine barely used at $10.00 each at a coin show. That was a super deal.
