Going through old change at Grandma's, when all of a sudden, "what the..." Now, it's my oldest cent by 15 years :) It's a real shame the Liberty is worn away, but the other details are nice, as is the attractive luster. I think it's a solid free find, no?

Thanks everyone! This was just my holy cow photo, I'll get some pics of the reverse and a better obverse as well. Maybe then someone can help me out with the condition? Also- has this coin been cleaned? God only knows how long this little guy has been hidden away here... As close to an "unsearched" roll as you can REALLY find

Condition appears to be Very Good (VG-8) based on the picture provided along with your description.

Nice one! A guy where I work found one of them on the floor of a BBQ joint I was in shock.

I'm pet-sitting for my little siste while she's visiting her son at his college. She left me a jar of change on her kitchen counter....wheeeee. LOL I'm waiting to look through it until tomorrow when I can sit and enjoy the search.

I love searching change. And I completely agree, you need to allow yourself enough time to soak it in and enjoy... problem is, it's that much more frustrating when you don't find anything. I'm taking a non camera-phone photo of my 1903 cent now. Good luck!

That was nice of your GrandMother to let you go through her change. You found something pretty good. Now you have 54 more to go until you complete your IHC collection. Good luck!

Congrats! I've been collecting since the mid '80's and I've never stumbled across a IHC in change.

My jaw dropped. I'm 22 and have been collecting on a more serious level for about a year. My favorite are bank roll finds, I like finding old coins..this was a lucky find. Thanks everybody! Any idea on the grade? I'm no good with determining that.. I have better obverse and reverse photos if anybody thinks they could help... Thanks again!

I'm no expert, but I would say around a vg10.
