Hi,

I grabbed this for 15 cents from a dealer's world junk box. He was mad that he missed it since it's silver but he followed through and gave it to me for the 15 cents per coin the junk box was posted for. Suckaaaaaaa! I think it's Belgian?

Yes, good find. Reminds me of my silver finds, Restrike Thaler for $0.50 and 1940 Canada dime and 1918 threepence for $0.50 each.

Looks like the Jury says it's an 1899 Belgian 50 centimes with a mintage of 500,000. Thanks for the link turtleoverhead!

Nice find. My best purchase was Serbia 1 dinar 1915 for 0.10 euro (in dinars equivalent ofc).
