ATB Five Ounce Silver Coins

From the latest Mint sales spreadsheet, cancellations are starting to be processed on GSM-P, 679 coins were taken off leaving a net of 24,742. SHD-P added only 1,177 to 21,297 so that coin will probably remain on sale through the summer. Looking ahead to Arches bullion, hope there's news of it for preorders by early next week.

I got El Yunque about a month ago from BGASC for $138 but now they are sold out. The going rate seems to be $30-40 more than that.

I got my 2014 P-Shenandoah 5oz puck came in today and its a beauty. Though I like the Great Smoky Mountain better, personal preference. I am looking forward to the next three.

I wish I got into these earlier than 2012. The first 2 years are starting to get expensive.

My 2 cents here..I don't think it's fair that the Mint does not place a limit on SP subscriptions...the "Big Boys", with unlimited purchase power can blow any Joe out of the water..you know darn well they are ordering these by the hundreds, looking for the SP70's to grade..then, dump all the SP69's on ebay..I'd say, after viewing many raw, fresh from the mint pucks, that maybe 1-in-25 would qualify as a perfect strike(mint-made minor dings, and, ejection scuffs at rim a constant ongoing problem with these strikes), thus, why they purchase so many..this, plus the fact that the public CANNOT direct-buy Bullion pucks, makes me resentful at the Big Money games we all have to deal with, as far as Mint Policy. Totally powerless over this(and, the Silver Eagle program, as well)...The U.S. Mint is supposed to be "By The People--For The People"...not just for QVC, and "Dealers", who, behind the scenes, hide behind semi-transparent curtians from TPG's, and, tilt the game in their favor. Higher mintages ruin the series, and, helps nobody...IF...IF(like mints from around the world do)..would limit the mintage, AND, take the time to put a unique serial #, and, COA for EACH SP Puck, it would solidify as a trackable item, with more clout...US Mint, take note of UK Royal Mint, and their unique serial # system! SP pucks could be world class coins, with a better numbering system..with the modern German presses they use for these, I'm pretty sure their all made in 1 day, or, 2 at most...NO excuse for not keeping track of the run, and, numbering each coin, with a unique#.
