The topic title might be a bit outdated though!
Not really, it seems like they are always in jeopardy. Sort of like the perpetually "Going Out of Business" retail stores.

Yes, so true. This is one of my favorite threads. As an aside, how does everyone like the new Mint website?

Oh, and when I called to cancel my subscription, I stated how great it was with the 10% off. I was told the new system couldn't support discounts!! Go figure! New and supposedly better but no discount, something that was really great.

It's good to have just one thread we can go to for the pucks.

I've thought many times that ATBs deserve their own sub-forum. Or even a sub-sub-Forum just for ATB pucks. I'm not sure who is going to read through all 143 pages of this topic, but part of me does like it all in one place.

Hopefully they will mint the entire series and I don't have to ask that question again.

I second that!

Wouldn't that mean Congress would have to get off their butts and agree to cancel this series?

(Did you see what I did there? I steered the conversation back to the original topic. No need to thank me. )

@Angel - I don't see how the mint could tell you the reason there are no discounts is because their new, state of the art, very expensive, new website can not handle removing 10% from certain orders made via enrollments (formerly subscriptions). I find that hard to beleive. I believe they told you that, just find it hard to believe that the old system could do it, but not the new system.

the discount going away has nothing to do with the website.. that was a decision by mint officials.

I know. I was just writing what the customer service person said. I even said to her that it sounded odd since a whole new expensive site. I don't find the site that wonderful either, especially on a smart phone.

Just got my 100th PCGS SP Coin in Registry Collection...My Favorite? The Newly Discovered 2011-P OLYMPIC LIGHT SATIN...first new Light Satin Discovery since Gettysburg in 2011. I had found and sent in September, 2014.....are there more LIGHT SATIN finds out there? Time will tell. I hope CherryPickers' Guide adds these to their 2015-6 Book, as it would develop a FS#, thus, force PCGS to add to Set Registry(NGC has all 5 Light Satins in their set registry, PCGS does not), and, add to the collector value...populations are very low for all but Grand canyon, by both companies. Most likely, they will slowly rise, as more finds are made. You have to have a few on hand, to see the difference..a normal strike is quite rough, while a Light Satin is smoother, and more lustrous on both sides...the 1 coin I DON"T OWN? What's called a 50/50 Grand Canyon...1 side rough, 1 side smooth...anybody has 1, message me!

Yes I saw they are accepting preorders now. I guess the P version will be nearer the end of the month. I wonder how many cancelled subscriptions due to the end of the discounts?

And I just checked the mint website and if you look at schedule, the 5 oz. isn't listed. It is however, there when you click full schedule. Just the 100 quarters is listed in Nov, 2014 in regular schedule. I wish they would just post the date so buyers could know to budget funds.

Just for information, although not in the online schedule for issue yesterday, I just received in the 'regular' mail the Fall 2014 Catalog from the US Mint. It lists the last 4 of the 5 oz. uncirculated coins. The Everglades National Park coin is listed as 'Available November 6'! I was surprised to see that included in the book since it must have been printed at least a week or more ago to have received it today. Surprised it is not on the schedule for the new improved website. I wonder if this flyer is accurate?

That's interesting. If you hear this date is valid, please let us know. I am going to order the new Kennedy set, but if I can wait until Nov. 6th, then I can save on the shipping and buy some other coins for Christmas gifts.
