2016 proof ATB Quarters in hand (at the SF mint!)

The Roosevelt and Moultrie look pretty awesome as proofs. Too bad the 5oz bullion or P puck couldn't be made this way to showcase the design.

I have hoped for a different Moultrie design; it could have been my first five ounce purchase. That being said, that design does look good as a proof. I will have to be content with the quarters

I'll be honest I was looking forward to Illinois and collecting my home state, but I'm kinda, "eh" on the design. Grand Canyon and BRP have been my two favorites in terms of design (Denali probably being number 3).

Pulled the trigger on Bombay Hook P last night... was getting antsy with the small number remaining.

Not looking forward to spending money on Cumberland Gap but Shawnee will look great (IMO) in the large format.

Do we know how long these pre-sales last? Is it usually a few days? A week?

sucks how the presale is $25 over spot when APMEX pays less than $10 over spot to get these from the mint

This is how they make money. They are pushing their luck with these premiums, given the slap on the wrist they got from the US Mint back in 2010...
I pre-ordered now as I waited too long last time round. I'm fairly sure though spot will drop now and I will overpay again for ordering too soon. Just my luck I reckon... ;)

On a per ounce basis this is only about $2+ an ounce premium which seems decent to me plus these go for well over that when released. They aren't generic bars

And APMEX ALREADY raised the premium...!

I ordered at 11:18am ET today and paid US$909.50 for a roll of 10 with PayPal. Right now, the same roll would cost me US$977.60 (same payment method).
That's called gouging I think?
