Kind of makes me wonder whether they will be returns from other people or not. I talked to a customer service rep. about this yesterday and she said she tried to contact a supervisor to find out about availability but was unable to reach one. She said she left them a message and they will be contacting me within 2 business days, I'm not holding my breath. The reason I called them was to talk about the other half of my order, I ordered a 2018 proof ASE with one of my puck orders and received a 2016 ASE instead. I had never returned anything to the mint before. Hopefully they send me back the correct year.

That order has demons. You order two Clark pucks that were available and then were not..(as the number sold drops by 24) You order a 2018 PF ASE and get a burnished one from two years ago Demons...

Actually it was a 2016 proof instead of a 2018 proof ASE. My order still shows backorder status for my 2 orders. I stoppped checking on these in the morning to see if any more become available.

Nice looking coin, that Picture Rock is. I might have to pick that up seeing I live in MI!

Quote: Nice looking coin, that Picture Rock is. I might have to pick that up seeing I live in MI! I agree, shotgung! Well, that means at least two will be sold.
It stinks, though, that the release is now in February. If it was anytime between April and November I would have made the trip to Munising for the US Mint's release. I would have picked up some rolls of quarters. However, next week we could be riddled with snow & ice (and the bridge could be closed) so it would make the drive up there just terrible. BTW, I'm just thinking of buying just one "P" puck; not going to waste any money on a bullion type.

Time will tell which version will be the better value and it will DEFINITELY interesting to see how the mintage of the next P puck trends. I don't have much faith in the first bullion issue of the year being a low number...more appropriate for the middle releases
Was the Clark P an anomaly or the way it will go from now on? I am betting on anomaly with the Clark being released with less than four weeks left in the minting season and prematurely shut off...
The higher price won't help though....go subs!

I really love the designs of the ATB's this year, they're probably the best since the first couple years of the series. So I'm debating whether to sign up for the product enrollment of the 2018 uncirculated pucks. I think the designs will translate well to bigger coins, but it seems like such a big investment I do have one that I bought back in 2011 and I really like it.

So here's my latest deal with my GRC - P puck orders. The only coin I received so far was a 2016 proof ASE when I ordered a 2018 proof. I sent that coin back for replacement. Also on that order and the following order each had 1 GRC puck which have been on backorder. So I receive an email today and they said they have refunded me for the ASE and no indication of replacement with the correct ASE. So I call Customer Service and they said that the ASE return has been processed and a replacement was being sent today. After I get off that call I get another email stating that the GRC puck on that same order was being shipped today. So now I have to call back Customer service and ask them to clarify what is actually being shipped to me today. I don't want to receive a 2018 ASE when they think they sent me a GRC puck. I want to know what is in the box they are shipping me today. After about 30 minutes on the phone they have come to the conclusion that I am just being refunded for my ASE part of the order with no replacement and the other half of my order, the GRC puck is being shipped today. We shall see. That was order number xxxx52. On the very next order xxxx53 I have one GRC puck on order and it still shows backorder. I am not going to order another 2018 ASE until I see what shows up in the next box. I am not going to place any more orders until these two orders are complete. What a circus the mint is.......

Sounds pretty straightforward.... It would be great if you are being shipped the Clark. Check your card statement to see if the billed you for it and that should confirm it. Oh, and I saw some US Mint employees going out for lunch the other day:
