ATB Five Ounce Silver Coins

The $229.95 price is the subscription price last determined before the end of the year. This was before the 2013 calendar appeared with the White Mountain listed at $244.95. The Mint's official line is that they are still establishing mintages and thus pricing as well. If it keeps to $229.95 expect the same level of mintage as last year, otherwise, if more, less coins packaged and sold.

The $229.95 price is cheap for a coin of 14,863 mintage. You will be hard pressed to find the Hawaii coin later at this level that's not been cherry picked or even mishandled. I would not buy these raw in the aftermarket, but only from the Mint for a coin this size.

For the 244 price you might as well shell out an extra 50 bucks and get the graded 70s from silver towne imo

If you check frequently you can get then for 340 or less if you order while supplies last. I've seen them all in that range at one time or another. I think it was the Hawaii but one of them not to long ago was only 270 or 280 it didnt last long though

We can always hope for something wild like a retooling of the process into dcam proofs. Or even matte devices with shiny bullion fields. Twould support the early price increase and change to tbd...

Reverse would lose all the gorgeous variety in finish seen in gettysburg. That one has become my favorite.

Wow, I sure am glad I have a couple of the Hawaii pucks, the P puck is going for up to $600 in OGP and the bullion for around $300. Wish I would have bought more. I think I might have to go back and check to see if if I bought any graded Hawaii coins, but I don't think I did. Too bad they aren't all going like this.....I would look real smart then...haha. 20 years from now I will look smart! I better still be alive! :-)

It's totally crazy the money for Hawaii when at least two other 2012 uncirculated and two bullion coins will come in around the 15,000 and 20,000 mark respectively. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if the uncirculated all come in just under 15,000 except for the first one. I didn't buy an extra one, but I do have two of the bullion coins. Once the Mint announced the final mintage, I hurriedly ordered the bullion in December. Didn't take long to sell out everywhere, either. So, really any 2012 5oz coin should have a premium, not just Hawaii.
