I just ordered the new P puck from the mint website along with the WP ASE set, no issues at all. No site crash today ( at least not yet ).

Well my shipping charges are all to heck this month anyways... I have the proof and uncirculated sets on a subscription. I ordered the Chaco and now this... so I have 5 different with the ASE set included. I wish they would consolidate shipping charges on the subscriptions at least - but well...there ya have it.

I am right there with you Doug. I am not sure if they will sell out fast but I know I want one and $4.95 isn't worth missing out for me. Mine has been ordered.

Very tempting to get one but there are other choices of coins out there:
1) The 2-coins ASE set (I need at least 2 set, not counting graded), which is cheaper than one of this.
2) Proof and burnish 2013 ASE
3) The annual coin set (Proof, Proof silver, Uncirculated)
4) Rolls and bags of 2012 ATB Quarters

Decision, decision, decision....

question for the group- do the rolls and bags of the quarters for the American Beautiful have numismatic value? I am confused where they fall in...

TIA

BTW I ordered on May 3rd my Chaco coin... it was in back order status and I was told that even tho it was backordered I would still be able to get it as I was told and the email said 5/18 ship date.

*sigh* guess I can understand why folks get upset to a certain degree. oh well.. I wont let it happen with the series going forward!

yup - that is a debate that can go on for hours. The only ones that might have an intrinsic value (to me) would be the ones minted in San Fransisco. Even those are up for a debate - but they at least are the only ones with an extremely low mintage.

I bought all 2011-2012 5 oz P ATB coins from US Mint website in 2012 but purchased all 2010 ATB 5 oz silvers on ebay in the Autumn of 2012. I made sure to bid only on the one's that comes in the US Mint box because the bullion (non-collector) version does not come in a box. But, I was just reading some back posts here and seeing how at least 1 seller was selling a 2011 silver ATB bullion in a US Mint box! This makes me nervous....I must check these 2010 coins. Not that they can be returned 7 months later but I will complain to ebay if any are not the P collector version.

Buyer beware!

Ya you really got to watch ebay, I buy a lot off there. For example I originaly posted about the bullion coin coming in box. Also I just bid on and won another (i have 4 already) of the san Fran set from last year. The listings title said "2 coin san Fran proof set ngc 69 early release. So I bid 140 I'm winning then with minutes to go I get out bid and at again winning the set for $151 with free shipping. I never bothered to open the pictures and examine the labels all I could see was they were in the black 25th anny ngc holders. So after I win I check out the pictures more careful and low and behold no early release designation. So I contact buyer and tell them they misrepresented item, and today he offered me $13 refund, I took deal so this set only cost $138

I ordered my Chaco on 5/5 and got an email today they cancelled my order.

Sorry but this was going to be my first purchase directly from the mint in 24 years when I first bought the 1987 mint set which was being hyped because of the NIFC halves and the 1989 Congress commemorative proof half which you can now buy on ebay (there was no ebay back then) for $3 shipped.

Never again.
