I got this lens online in between advice from our forum members, but as there was no time, I bit the bullet to find its missing some things.........How ever as I'm biting my lip as many of us do whil;e it seems we chose the wrong lane...
I thought of one thing....I'm using a bellows........
I never use the focus ring or the apeture as I'm in manual mode ......I should not even be able to get a picture...Of a whole coin or a partial coin....The bellows...
I only had time to just get these shots off tonight...Getting off work, getting home with this idea...Get a shot off if
I can focus.....Let me know what you think,, I still need to work with this lens...

Just a couple of general shots, I will try to get in closer in the next few days....Thanks for your ideas...Gene

Gene...you will probably get the best result from the lens reversed. It might be an excellent high mag lens for varieties. I look forward to more images!

Thanks Ray for the advice, I used some Teflon tape to mount the lens into a 39MM thread, It actually magnifies better in hand, un-reversed...Those first shots were just to get something into focus, the dollar is pretty large for a 75MM lens,Both shots only resized uncropped...I tried a couple more this morning before I crawl under the house this fine cold morning

I tried a Penny as it has some die lines within it, and a cropped last pic of the cotton bolls to get some kind of magnification results...I think they will be fine...
The depth of field is almost to flat,
