Do you have the material that states the composition of the medal? I have the John Adams medal but without the packaging and there seems to be a lot of disagreement as to what it is made of.

There are two cards inside that have only historical information on John Adams, The first centennial congress, Carpenters hall and Independence hall but no information on the medal composition or mintage number.

I just purchased the American revolution medal. it came in a little blue case. The case states that it is sterling silver. I am not sure if the coin is the same as the one that came with the stamps but it looks the same. it weighs about an ounce. I paid 25 for it at an auction last week. If anyone has any other information on the coin id appreciate it.

The medals in the bicentennial philatelic-numismatic covers (PNCs) of 1972-76 are made of bronze; these medals were also available in individual cases from 1973-76. See here for more info that I've posted about them: https://goccf.com/t/122009

Hello eg. There is a medal on ebay without the date around the star?. It is being sold as an error coin. Have any ideas?

FDC for coins means fleur de coin. A perfect example equivalent to a 70 grade. I was expecting to see a couple of outstanding medals. Instead I found a grave robber.

Have a look at the link I provided a few posts up -- it explains the date/no date versions of these medals. You didn't provide a link to the medal in question, but the seller is likely mistaken re: it being an error.
