I found this 1983 Cud going through Penny rolls.
I know there is a book on Cuds, can any one tell me what the name of the book is?
Thanks,
Tim

Very nice find. 1983 is known for a lot of Cuds and yours is on the large side. the name of the book is The Design Cud by Mort Goodman it was printed in the mid 1960's. There is another one by Paul Marvin and Arnold Margolis(1979) and there is a new version 245 page by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis.

Wow! Great find! I'd think its worth about $30-$35 dollars, maybe more.

Thanks for the input.
I never thought about it before but I guess there would be a lot of errors in 1983 since they had the new composition to figure out.
I just bought the Dansco Penny album and will put it in one of the blank spots.
Good Hunting!

I get so used to people posting die chips and calling them Cuds (incorrectly). I figured this was another case of the same until I opened the thread.

Sorry for not giving you enough credit ahead of time - it IS a very nice Cud!

Ignore the Roman coins, they are from another thread--still figuring out the picture thing.

I have 4 Cuds: three are 1983's, the other is a nickel, none are as large as yours. Nice find.
