I think it would have made a 63, if it wasn't for the gouge in the nose.

I concur, MS62 with super luster, common on that coin, just too big a hit on the face & nose also one in the hair above the forehead, to grade any higher.

 MS 62, luster looks really nice and  Mitch, the rev would be nice to inspect up close. Marks on the cheek, nose and eyebrow and field from 7-10 o'clock keep it from getting a 63 or higher. Jim

Feeling good with what I've learned here about grading in the last couple mos. Studied the coin & decided on MS-62 B/4 I scrolled down. Was happy to see I was in agreement with the others.

MS-62+ but might get a MS-63 from a TPG. Nice coin!
