We are now six days in or half way through this progression of classic coins. If these coins are the lower end of your 12 chosen we are in store for six more days of fantastic examples. Just some phrase for some of our posters:
Jeffrose, Moe and Fuzzy, your collections are in the same lines as mine and you post coins I would want for my personal set.
Coinstar, you are a Morgan man and I admire your progression of them.
Maprince230, your examples of smaller denomination silver make me want to finish my type set.
Vermontensium, your coppers are stunning keep them coming.
barryg, your array of circulated coins remind me of most of my collection, great selections.
Wonslick, also a dollar guy we are looking forward to your next six examples.
SuperDave, the image king beautiful photography.
Rayman311, your selections have not only been high quality but rare too.
Cipster, your bust coins are fantastic, I wish I had some.
PG, your variety and the quality of them also makes me want to focus on my type set.
I'm sure I have miss a few of you but your contribution has been well received and I am looking forward to seeing your best stuff over the next few days.

WOW! G6? I Wish!Is that what you would grade it as? I call it a G4, but NGC Called it AG-3. I really think it is right on the line for G4, if not slightly over. I am VERY Proud of it, also proud of the price which I paid, $400. I wanted a G-4, But this is as close to one as possible, even many would consider it G-4, and I paid half the G-4 price or less. This is the best and rarest Coin in my collection, and for a 16 year old, a 1916D Dime in any grade is something! Coincrazed

Muddler - Once again... great idea starting this thread! Enjoying every pick, each coin with it's own appeal and character. I want them all! johnson1488- Great pickup! Snagging that beauty is quite an accomplishment. I wish I had been as smart as you in my collecting at your age. Bravo!

This is turning out fantastic! The only problem for me is having chosen to post favorite pics rather than favorite coins - I have a couple of all-time favorites that don't fit the thread requirements.

So SuperDave, do these coins fall under another category and if so should we have another go at it with a different thread description to fit more coins? Maybe a thread under the main coin forum for a top favorite of any type of coin?

coincrazed, NGC is crazy. G4 at least. I'll try to post a pic of my PCGS AG3. Another reason to buy the coin, not the slab ;)

I think that would fly, if you could come up with a theme to categorize it. Maybe after the first of the year, since the next couple weeks are likely to be light around here. Perhaps a one-post-per-poster, listing at once their 5 favorite Moderns or 5 favorite Worlds, as may fit. I got stuff for either.

I would call it a low G-4 really, but it's in am AG-3 Slab, so I call it what the called it. I would LOVE to see pics of yours! Quote: johnson1488- Great pickup! When Silver went up, I sold, and I used some of the money I made to buy that Coin, which I have wanted for YEARS! Coincrazed

Any interest in a chronological thread from the 21st Century back to antiquity? I'm just finishing up a "One from each century Current - 800BC" set and it's been a hoot! Of course the US coins dropped out of the mix early on....

The chronological thing is currently being done here: https://goccf.com/t/86101..and it has progressed back to the mid-17th century. Check it out!
