Does anyone know what the mintage #'s are for the 1998 10 cent as it's not in my 08 Greg Mc book.

kept a few tonight from 08 as I didnt know mintage, now I will have to sort em again and remove the few with marks, and just keep the best, 48m is a lot.

Yeah 48's sounds a bit but then you just never know. I noticed a few post on here about the 77, I don't know how many I've released back but I think I might have to pick the best and release the rest. I think we should be able to do a tag and release and see where they go and what they do, what do you think

It would be interesting to see how they travel. Would be much easier with banknotes, as they are already labelled (serial numbers). For coins, I think you would need something like microdots unless you did something like use a punch and deface the coins (do a search for microdot on wikipedia). Whatever method you used, with the small number of people who would tag or look for the coins and the large number of coins in circulation, I think it would be pretty rare to find one again.

Great idea Ausjack. Tag and release just like they do with wildlife. It would just be my luck though that I would be at home doing some innocent noodling when Ausjack would come storming in with a radio receiver looking for his tagged coin.
