Super nice looking Buffalo! It's a bit hard to guess but at minimum it's a high end AU coin this one I would need to see in hand, give it a roll under some good lighting, look for wear or flat spots under the toning, to sort out what is wera if any and just weak strike. Super photo!

I agree. This is one of those coins that you would need to see in hand to make an accurate estimate. As west coin said, it does seem to be a high end AU. That is one beautiful Buffalo!

Mid AU. Some nicks on the cheekbone & touch of wear on the feather. Some flatness on the hip, front shoulder, & horn.

I would give it would grade AU50 at best. There appears to be too much wear, albeit even, on the cheek and braid. The rim has issues that may make it difficult to attain a PQ rating. Not really a tough coin to get in MS grade and at a decent price too. Not like the 14-s in MS. That is a sleeper in my opinion.

I, too, believe I see a bit of wear. The coin is toned, but I see a good degree of luster there too. I'd go AU-55. Saying AU-50 at best, therefore considering XF, is rough. I've never seen a coin like this, slabbed or graded raw by an experienced dealer, be anything less than AU. The coin is beautiful and would likely bring low MS money.
Rest in Peace

I also think it looks AU from the pics, but I think its possible that the pics are not showing the true luster of the coin. It's very pretty though, agreed.
