Hay All...

well it finally happened. Went to a new bank (same chain just new location.) to buy myself another round of 10 cent rolls for searching. ALL the closest banks told me they have 0. I think I cleaned them all out last week and they are recouping.

ANYWAYS, every time I go in I ask if someone has brought in any 50 cent coins or the old silver dollars (referring to the color not the content.)And this time the teller said yes I think we do.. O.o then he checked and said yes and old women brought them in saying she didn't need them anymore. thinking WOO HOO but holding it in dont want to get to excited till I check them. So the guy brings out a bag and starts to count the dollars. Instantly I notice 4-5 older queen Elizabeth and a king George... he totaled it up to only $165 worth of dollars and 50 cents coins.

looked through and found:

Dollars:12 total

1936 (condition is about VF to EF)
1953
3x 1958
6x 1962
1966

50 cent:13 total

2x 1959
2x 1960
1961
2x 1963
4x 1965
2x 1966

sorry this is my first "big" haul from a bank.. feels good.

ALL the rest are from 1969-about 1980's
