I think what they mean by "red+" is the new grading system like MS67+. Not sure but it sounds logical.

I'm guessing you mean MS-67 not ms7. Correct?
I'd have to go to the PCGS web site to try to see that. Never heard of anyone using a + or - after a grade before.
Really wouldn't make CENTS since a MS-67+ should or could just be a MS-68.
Sort of like in the past I kidded about starting to use things like MS-65.9832. Or changing to a 100 point system such as with a MS-93.88712 approximately.

MS67 vs MS67+ PCGS = MS67 vs MS67* NGC

The + and * (star) designations are for exceptional pieces, showing an above average luster, or color. Similar to what CAC is trying to do with their stickers, showing an upper end piece for the grade.

I'm prety sure the red refers to the colour of the coin.
A lot of copper coins turn a fantastic red colour.

Found a page tonight at NGC on + and Star designations, it explains it quite nicely:

PCGS is not quite as clear of a description but here is what they have to say about + grades:

Yes the "+" designation is a ridiculous attempt at doubling the granularity of the Sheldon Scale (which is already hefty at 70 grades) where the Star designation is simply their way of saying "Neat!" which is just about as useful as a doctor's office "you've been a good sport" sticker.

Anything to make a buck from the TPGs. :-P
