coinguybrian Rest in Peace United States 5375 Posts	Posted 12/15/2011 8:16 pm I think thats true especially for upper XF and AU-53 or 55 coins, but some people over on another forum were talking about that standard and how to apply it to deeply toned/grey toned coins that didn't really exhibit much luster because they're toned. I don't think this is one of those that much though, its toned pretty lightly. There's a good chance that the luster was impaired in some way but it still looks nice IMO. Myself for stepping out early Saturday morning to run an errand. The postal delivery person for showing up early for deliveries (fine day to be efficient). Finding the infamous PS 3849, Delivery Notice, Reminder, Receipt. I can pick it up on Monday. The post office that my coin is at closes at 1630, I get off work @ 1600, if I am lucky and catch every green light between here and there...and then there is going to be the line of outgoing packages...
