I usually don't collect currency unless I come across something appealing. I picked this up for $45. There are no pinholes, tears or splits....Do you think this can get by with a VG

Yeah, I don't see anything that would prevent it from getting a VG. No chunks missing, no tears, pinholes.. Maybe on a good day, it can do F, but it's safe at VG in my opinion.

EDIT: I think the stains, dirt, and center wear would prevent it from reaching Fine.

The stains are the thing that hurt the grade the most. It wouldn't surprise me if this note was previously removed from a slab since it has the look of a cleaned note.

I've never been good at grading notes but it does look nice. Sure, it's not perfect but you can read the date and see what it is. Nice note.

I think it would get a VG.
