Hi. I like posting new discussion topics. Today's question is ' What is your favorite America note design?' it could be anything including colonial, U.S., state notes, bank notes, confederate- anything.
I'll start. I love colonial currency. I have two 1776 notes, a 1777, and one from the 1780s. I love those old, cool notes. They also have interesting messages on them like "Mind your business" and " To counterfeit is DEATH". Yes, those are actual messages printed on colonial notes I have.
What notes do you like?

Gold certificates. I just wish I could exchange them for gold! At least the words give you a warm fuzzy feeling!

Education Notes, very artistic, and controversial.

I think mine would have to be the educational notes. I wish I could own a set of all three denominations but the $2 and the $5 are a bit out of my price range.

I too really like the educational notes. They are on my "wish list" of notes I would love to own some day.

Gold certificates and the educational notes are beautiful. You just don't get artwork like those notes anymore.
