A few days ago, I ordered some coins from the US Mint. The order has been shipped and they were nice enough to send me a link so I can track the order with USPS. I have tried the link for a few days, with all the numbers they list in the email.

Tonight, I decided to check the US Mint site to see if they had a different number to try. The tracking number they sent was correct......
but they shipped it with FedEx, not USPS.

Does that surprise anybody? The mint isn't exactly giving Amazon a run for their money.

Why is the USPS going broke? Look how the ASE sets were sent. Crazy rationale.

My ASE set was shipped by UPS not USPS. Our postal service is suffering from a lack of volume and here is an example of a branch of our government not using another branch.
