Well, was looking to fill holes today and stumbled across what I think was an unmarked '64 L. This would be my first, so I just wanted some expert opinions on this sad coin.

From what I can see of the obverse, this is the pointed bust type, which also means it's the "L" variety.

If you take a look at this link it will give you a good indication of the location and style of the "L" Mr Longacre put on his coins:

It is difficult to say for sure if your coin is of the "L" variety. The XF grade 1864 cent in my collection is clearly not.

Thanks aiglet7, I was using those photos and others to make my determination. :D

Also, there are two links under my photo which might have been easily missed.
