My step-dad had this on the wall of his study when I was a kid. He gave it to my step-brother about 15 years ago. I had mentioned several months ago if he and his wife ever wanted to get rid of it I would love to hang it in my office at work. Well they surprised me tonight by giving to me as a Christmas present. I took a picture of it next to a regular nickel. Obviously by the copyright it is not old, but has anyone seen anything like it before? I really don't care if it's valuable because I think it's cool, and it has sentimental value to me. But was curious if anyone had run across something like this before.

That is cool.

How much does it weigh? Solid aluminum?

I have seen something familiar but the design was a Morgan dollar. It's a very nice and unique piece.

Aluminum bullion, wow! My pants are big, but I don't think that will fit in my pocket. Very cool!

I would say the face of it is about ½" thick, the circumference edge is about 1/2" thick, and the front to back measurement of the edge is about an 1½" thick. (I hope that makes sense)

I don't have a scale, and I'm a terrible estimator of weights, but if I had to guess I'd say about 7-10 lb.

It would be cool if they made the reverse as well.
