So once again I have a question about a Bronze with the fallen horseman reverse. While that side is fairly clear and has an obvious Siscia mint mark, the obverse lettering is tricky. This is what I can make of the lettering:
"C L I II ___(S)___ M N O D H(?) O II G A C S"

Any help would be appreciated!

It would be helpful perhaps to have a photo of the reverse as well. Even though you told us what it is.

Gil-galad- Sure. Here's a pic of the reverse. It is much nicer and much easier to read in hand, so that is why I didn't include it at first.

Although there is not much to go on, I am starting to suspect that it might be Julian II. Any thoughts on this matter?

I believe you are correct, it is Julian II. DN CL IVLIANVS NOB CAES, FEL TEMP REPARATIO. I can't read the mint mark so I can't come up with a RIC #.

echizento- Thanks for the Help! Actually I misspoke earlier, and this coin is actually Thessalonkia (I think). The mint mark is "C(?) M T S A"

Should be SMTSA.

Sacra Moneta(SM) Thessalonica(TS). (A) alpha workshop.

In that case.

If it's SMTSA, than it would be Thessalonica 210, there should be an M in the left field but I can't see it in you image. If so its rated as scarce.

Gil-galad & echizento- Thanks for the help!

There is in fact an "M" in the left field. If this coin is scarce, although the coin would probably grade VG at best, what kind of value would you assign to it?

Difficult to say in this condition, maybe $20. You might want to soak it in olive oil to clean it up a bit and bring up the value. The obverse is somewhat pitted so that is going to reduce the value some.
