OK I found my problem . Here are the pics I wanted to post with this thread. I have been able to make a complete collection of all my coins and hyperlink pictures to each coin in a Excel spreadsheet. I have place my collection on a 320 gig remote drive. Now where ever I may be I can link to this drive an view my collection and see the coin. This is the best way for me to be able to enjoy the coins without having to have the coin in my hand. You can only do this with good pictures.
Thanks CC

Nice pics, and isn't it cool to be able to have your collection on your computer, available any time, without worrying about magnifiers or lighting or accidentally dropping or any of the myriad of concerns? The coins can be safely tucked away while you enjoy them!

What the capability did for me is help me decide what coins in my collection are most important to me. Of course some have sentimental value that makes them "keepers" but pretty much the rest, if they don't photograph well, I don't plan to keep. It's a fairly simple test...if it looks good in my photos, it's a keeper.

Thank You. I found out that could grade my coins more accurate after taken pictures, than with me looking with magnifiers. It is a little bit of work. But well worth it.

Couldn't have done it without the Forum and all you expert volunteers.
I started less than a year ago, and didn't know what camera to buy. And when I got one, I didn't know how to install the batteries.
If you need help, you've come to the right place.

Thanks,
Kurt
