Great advice from members of this forum have gave me the knowledge to take good coin pics. I have been able to make a complete collection of all my coins and hyperlink pictures to each coin in a Excel spreadsheet. I have place my collection on a 320 gig remote drive. Now where ever I may be I can link to this drive an view my collection and see the coin. This is the best way for me to be able to enjoy the coins without having to have the coin in my hand.You can only do this with good pictures. Thanks CC Big Ed Report this Post to the Staff
rmpsrpms Pillar of the Community United States 4038 Posts	Posted 12/18/2011 12:33 pm Nice pics, and isn't it cool to be able to have your collection on your computer, available any time, without worrying about magnifiers or lighting or accidentally dropping or any of the myriad of concerns? The coins can be safely tucked away while you enjoy them! What the capability did for me is help me decide what coins in my collection are most important to me. Of course some have sentimental value that makes them "keepers" but pretty much the rest, if they don't photograph well, I don't plan to keep.
