Oh, OK, I understand now. The proof sets look nice but are just not my thing. More power to anyone who does, though. If we all liked the same things, we would not have much variety and things would probably cost more.

Right now all nine of the 27-28 votes are looking good, but much could change in the last day or so of market activity....

I gotta say, the first 6 months I got into Pm's, I did not have a clue on how to guess that line and made some ridiculous predictions. This is classic, as I recall I had silver to be around 68 dollars an oz. by years end in one poll way back in early spring or so, rof. If these jack wagons running the government don't clean up their acts fast and see the error in their ways, we may just see that come to fruition by the end of 2012....

But last 6 months I have had my finger on the pulse some what, thanks to getting a better understanding of the markets history, via all you guys that have put in the trial and error over the last 30 to 40 years, thanks by the way much appreciated by me, and that is dead SERIOUS, something I rarely am, lol...

Lol, MK! Something tells me that the fix is in as we draw closer to the end of PM trading in 2011.

That's right, Hawk, I remember that as well. The term "irrational exuberance" occurred to me at the time but, as we all know, anything and everything can happen in the PM marketplace, so you could have been right. OK, so not that time but perhaps in 2012? We'll see.

Boy, I was way off, I thought Silver would make a better years end showing. I think I figured around $31.34...Oh well, Tomorrow's (next year) another day!

Lets see, $28.26 less .48 cents = $27.78.

That must make me an expert.

Ok so I really was off by 4 or 5 dollars. However I am still waiting for that $24 dollar silver, now who was that guy?

Did I say I ordered more MAPLES.

I guessed 27-28. Do I win a prize? Seriously, this is a good time to be dollar-cost-averaging in, and that is exactly what I intend to do. Long-term, silver's prospects are quite bright, but I expect volatility and lower prices in the short term.

It must, MK. If not, I will vote for you as CCF's silver pricing expert.

Actually, quite a few of us voted for the $26-28 range in the closing silver price for 2011. I checked out a few web sites and all showed silver closing out 2011 at just under $28 an oz. Good job for all who came close to this price.

Only the fame that those who joined with you in this price range can collect.

Indeed so. I agree completely with this and am doing the same. The recent couple of weeks are a prime example of why one should never invest short-term money in PMs or borrow money to buy PMs. They can bite us in the short term for sure. If we can ride out times such as these, the longer term is likely to be very bright for PM owners.
