I heard that Gold Eagles with roman numerals--those minted 1986-1991--are gaining favor among collectors. What are others hearing? Are the roman numeral Eagles fetching a premium over their Arabic numeral counterparts?

It was a sign of the times, Roman versus Arabic numerals. It may have something more along the lines of mintage?
