Ok, I finally got to look at this coin.

- I checked for the S/S...YES
- I checked for the Dropped Digit (the 7 in the "denticles" on the obverse rim, the top of the "7" (red circle) is visible in the image below)...YES
- While I was taking a few images I noticed that the reverse (or obverse) is rotated 90 degrees...BONUS!

These three descriptors were not listed on the ebay listing, so much the better!

What I am lacking in is picture taking quality. My lighting is not good and I can't even get close enough to capture the dropped digit & S/S mint mark.

If you want to take close-up pictures and you dont have macro on your camera just put a jewelers loupe right up to the lens and hold it close to the coin. That should work or you can just take a picture from whatever the closest distance from the coin is and crop the area and enlarge the picture that works good too.

I'll give that a try on the close-ups. I tried the high pixel count (5M) on my digital camera, macro setting, but it emphasizes my unsteadiness. I need to set the copy stand I got a month ago.

Only VF+? Maybe it was the angle? I know that the Twenty Cent Pieces were struck differently than the remaining Seated series. Tough crowd!

I forgot about the larger and close-up images;

Not sure which "digit" is dropped in the denticles, a 7 or a 5?

I will go with AU-50 though in the new pictures it looks like there is scratch in the right obverse field.

I like it! I've been looking at 20¢ this week, need one for the collection, you really scored on this one it seems! Good for you.
