I get that we all have to make a living somehow, but this is just ridiculous:

Quote:
For $200, we'll send you via USPS a box of nickels with 50 $2 rolls of nickels. $100 face value. No fuss; no muss.

Why the premium? We do the "heavy lifting"; you just write a check. No shipping and handling. Your order ships as soon as your payment clears.

Sure, you can go to your own bank, buy nickels, and schlep them home. But will you? When the hyper-inflation hits, how long will it take to recoup your cost? A day, a week, a month, a year. Who knows. But past performance is a predictor of the future.

"But past performance is a predictor of the future"

Investment 101 FAIL; Past performance is not an indicator of future gains.

Also you might have to pay a kid some money to go through the rolls because your too lazy to bring the home from your bank . But still it would be way under the $100.00 more that they want.

This is not me, but if anyone is going to do this, might as well save yourself some cash and go with a real operator:

There are plenty of stupid people in this country, I am sure this site has had some takers, just look at all the half dollar rolls that people are selling on ebay for a markup.

Unless I am completely mistaken the US nickel was only minted using silver between 1942-1945 ( War Nickels) this jokers website states that all nickels minted before 1965 have silver! Are these people just that stupid or are they completely and intentionally misleading people?
