you would probably be better off asking for this at a photo supply store.

After using Helvetica's Excel sheets, I narrowed down the list and I think it's Cyzicus RIC VII 91 OBVERSE: VRBS-ROMA Helmet with plume facing left wearing imperial mantle REVERSE: She-wolf feeding twins Romulus and Remus. Two stars above. SMK - last letter I cannot make out very well. Here is what options you have for Cyzicus RIC VII 91, in exergue. SMKA SMKB SMK gamma SMK delta SMK epsilon SMKS A plume or a Panache is a length of feathers or other material or fabric that is at a top of a helmet or hat. Here is a image of one similar.

On the obverse, there appears to also be a necklace with no ornaments. That is also an option for the ID I gave.

Thanks Gil-galad I know I have some stupid questions sometimes thats what I figured the plume is a little different on the RIC 91 on wild winds with another extra piece sticking out in the fromt of the helmet so this is why I asked what a plume is I thought that extra piece was the plume that was given in the description.

My attribution for this coin is RIC VII Cyzicus 90, rated R3- RIC 91 has an upright plume at the front of the helmet.

Quote: RIC 90 What is a plum? jessvc1, Here is some info about the plume you refer to. Your coin has no plume and is a D3 bust, plumed is D4.(a small feathered object at front of helmet) The arching object over the top of the helmet is referred to as crested helmet I believe. You will find info about the D3-D4 Wolf and Twins on p.88 http://www.forumancientcoins.com/notinric/cv7.htmlHere is a picture of a Constantinopolis I found with a plume and sent to Lech at Not In Ric. who then wrote about it in the corrigenda. If you want to see more about the Constantinopolis coins it's written up at the p.90. click highlights to see the images. Regards

OK my coin cleaning project is finally finished. I finished it off with a coat of wax. The details came out good but so did the corrosion. Overall I think this coin is a decent type coin for my collection.

I agree. You did an amazing job cleaning that coin from the way it first appeared.
BTW I'm pretty sure it's SMK delta.

I agree its SMK delta. I left a few green deposits on the coin to add to the authenticity of the coin.
