Hey gang,

Just wondering if we could get a post or two going that has errors or the like that people have found but aren't in the books yet, and what other strange little things to look for as some books give handy hints but I've found out heaps more from you guys(thanks) and also any helpful hints as to what people think we should be keeping, do or not to do etc.

I like to collect low mintages but after seeing some of your post stating a lot of the figures are wrong it make you wonder if it's worth holding some of them or not. Eg I just got some 2010 fities and only 1 has the coat of arms and the rest are special..I'm holding them all until I can find the mintages in a few years but I have them so

Thoughts please people

Thanks for any help

Long term, my guess is the CoA 2010 50c be more valuable. With the RAM having sold rolls with the fancy paper on them, I'm guessing millions of these coins will be hoarded.

----> + Because so many Australia Day types were produced, the CoA mintage would have to be ridiculously low!

Check the 2010 COA 50c for the die rotation spoken about in another thread, 30 degree upset.

More than 50% of the 2010's I've seen have been CoA. I started saving a few but have stopped now. I found at least 10 today from $100 of 50c.
