IF YOU LOOK AT A COIN YOU CAN SEE THE MOOD OF THE COUNTRY AT THAT TIME. WHY IS THE WINGS OF THE EAGLE RELAXED ON THE REVERSE OF THE Peace dollar? LEAVE YOUR THOUGHTS AS TO WHY. BUSTHALF

The Peace dollar was to commemorate the end of WWI...not to mention the fact that the Spanish Flu was over and at another loss of 685,000 in the U.S. alone. Just to think that a few years later would be the Great Depression. Not a good 15 years or so for most!

The Walking Liberty half dollar is another good example of a peacer time coin, Liberty with an open out stretched hand holding the olive branch of peace on the obverse !!

The reverse also depicts a relaxed eagle grasping the olive branch of peace.

Off-topic but, can you please NOT TYPE IN CAPS? It seems that you are either ticked off or some sort, making it very difficult to read.

What about the Standing Liberty quarter? Lady Liberty was definitely strong on that coin!
