Hello everyone. New to the site. Has anyone seen this before? If so, how common is it? What kind of error is it? Edited by brahcu 12/26/2011 6:20 pm

I believe that is exactly what a malfunctioning coin counting/wrapping machine can do.

Used to find those all the time from parking meters. Anything that holds in place while turning the coin, like the crimping finger on a coin roller, can do this.

It is a regular occurrence on all denominations during wrapping process and not limited to Cents.

to the CCF No value to these as they are considered damage. It's a spender unless you want to keep it as an example.
