I am way down in New Orleans and do not come across many Canadian coins other than pennies. I just found this coin in my stash and think it is just so pretty. I also read where there is one other colorized quarter called the poppy quarter. Any idea, other than buying one on ebay and paying $4 to get one here, on how I could obtain one? I really want a red poppy quarter now to go with my pink ribbon one. Edited by Cajunlady0 01/01/2012 7:23 pm

Ugly wouldn't be the only one willing to help you out. And yes that pesky 50 post rule does get in the way sometimes.15 to go.

Hey anyone know where to get the set of poppys for a decent price? Even the pink ribbon would also be nice.

I'm a extremely new user and would never expect anything for free I would cover Atleast FV and shipping. But I understand the 50 post thing for sure.

I have given and received things here on CCF, I am grateful to be on either end, it's plainly fun to share the hobby.

Somehow, my pink ribbon picture got replaced with another one so I took it off. Will reload it tomorrow. Thank you all so much for the information. So, as of today, there are 4 colorized quarters? Had no clue about that. I think I received the pink ribbon as a free gift with an ebay purchase a few years back. I thought it was some token or something back then. But, now that I am sorting and recording all my coins it jumped out at me because it was so different. I wish the US would do something like that. I would love to send back a US coin for any I am sent. Am slowly but surely getting to that 50 benchmark. :)

James........ you are in Canada. Aren't these coins in circulation? Just curious how you can not get them everywhere. Are they scarce? I don't understand.

You see them occ. But the one I get In change the picture is always degraded so I'm looking for a uncirculated set most likely from mint rolls. I'm a little obsessed with quality which will have to chance when I start the older coins or I'll end up broke.
