I splurged and bought this for like $7 shipped. It arrived, without padding, rattling as if it had a broken piece but it works fine. Actually, it is amazing.

Why?

You can hold it in an single spot and rotate the loupe, moving your lighting. Talk about making RPDs POP out of the coin. Wish I could take a video of how an RPD can just BURST out of a coin as you rotate your light source.

There is a focus wheel. You can set the loupe firmly against the holder, use the wheel to focus, and not worry about scuffing up your lens. I have big fingers, so I actually wish this thing were twice as big.

Sure, it says 60x... but is it really 60? Doubt it, but it is great for RPDs and RPMs. So far it has worked for 1 week.

It came with 3 little batteries.

Has anyone else used this thing?
